(1) As the main body in the academic and academic field of the University, there shall be an Academic Council with the following members:-

(a) Vice-Chancellor – Chairman

(b) Principal – Member Secretary

(c) General Secretary – Member

(d) Executive Director, Research Center – Member

(d) Examination Controller - Member

(D2) President, Nepal Sanskrit University Professors Association - Member

(e) Subject Committee Chairmen Five - Member

(f) Departmental Five members from among the principals -members (g) Two members from among the principals - members (g1) One member from among the principals of affiliated universities -Members

(h) Two members from among the senior teachers People - Members

(2) Other than ex-officio members, the nomination of other members will be done by the assembly on the recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor.

(3) Other than ex-officio members, the term of office of other members will be three years.
